Fiordland National Park, New Zealand

In the southwestern corner of New Zealand's South Island, nature unfolds a breathtaking beauty of "Fiordland National Park"  If you have heard the term "Eighth Wonder of the World." it belongs to "Milford Sound" which lies at the heart of Fiordland National Park. It is a site created by ancient glaciers," Milford Sound" is a fjord of indescribable beauty, surrounded by sheer cliffs that rise dramatically from the dark waters. It is an intricate ecosystem yet very rich in biodiversity, from ancient beech forests to alpine meadows, Kea (the world's only alpine parrot) and the elusive takahe are among the unique inhabitants of this untamed wilderness. Fiordland's lush rainforests are home to an array of plant species, including ferns, mosses, and towering podocarp trees. Bird enthusiasts will delight in the park's avian residents, from the playful kea to the melodious tui. Many aquatic creatures like Seals, dolphins, and sometimes whales are found in the waters around the fjords.

Fiordland is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, offering an extensive network of tramping (hiking) trails that cater to all levels of adventurers. The Milford Track, one of New Zealand's Great Walks, takes hikers through a stunning landscape of valleys, lakes, and mountain passes, providing a truly immersive wilderness experience.
